SANCTIRIS - Orris butter in a base of vintage Sandalwood oil

True orris butter is a very rare and precious raw material of high perfumery that requires a very long and demanding work to be produced.

One of the ways to enjoy this remarkable aromatic distinctly, is to blend it in sandalwood oil.

This blend offers quintessent orris butter experience with subtle enrichment, evolution and extended longevity that the Sandalwood offers.

It is also much more convenient to handle than pure orris butter, and less expensive.

The opening is pure orris, with its distinctive notes of violet, raw cacao, and a hint of raspberry, creaminess, woodiness and a subtle hint of leather. It has something timeless and aristocratic.

As times pass, there is gentle evolution, while keeping a linear orris presence: the experience becomes smooth and slightly gourmand (the feeling of a brioche right out of the oven). Nothing overly sweet though: it is both creamy but also dry. 

Over later hours, it then gently transforms into a delicious, elegant and subtle powdery golden aura.

The scentient experience is narcotic, hypnotic, focusing, elevating, warming, comforting.
