PRINCESSE NEROLI d'ORIENT - Eau de Parfum

A personal East meets West homage to one of the timeless star ingredients of perfumery : Neroli.

Citrus Aurantium (from where the orange blossom oil, known as Neroli, is extracted), is a tree native to the Himalayan foothills, roughly around the confluence of today's India, China & Myanmar. 

Through different travel routes, it ended up being christened "Sevillan Orange", having been one of the favorite plants of the diving Mauresque gardens of Al-Andalus, seducing people and finding dozens of uses for perfumery, medicine, food, everywhere in between and beyond. It's history in Europe, and particularly at the French court, under the three last Louis's, and of course as central ingredient of the famous original Eau de Cologne, also has made it a star of perfumery à la française.

It is those routes, of trading knowledge, aromatics goods, plants, stories (..) and different associated traditions of perfume making that inspired the creation process of Princesse Neroli d'Orient.

A complex, mysterious, enticing, deep, voluptuous aristocratic perfume.

Egyptian Neroli, Tunisian Neroli, Rosa damascena (our production), Assamese Oud, Henna, Shore collected Ambergris , Sandalwood (S, album), Assame Vetiver, Ambrette, Himalayan Spikenard,  Frankincense (Oman & somalia), Oakmoss, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Saffron (our production), Myristica fragrans (I love that botanical name - nutmeg -), Shorea robusta

Eau de parfum : 12% - in pure perfumer alcohol and a touch of purified water.
