Rosa imperiosa is a lush, opulent, gourmand, warm, seductive and pheromonal perfume
The opening is glorious rose, enwrapped into gourmand notes (pâte à choux, chesnut cream, fresh saffron brioche - no excessive sweetness) and a touch of suede, saffron adding its distinctive and aristocratic spiciness, that structures the other notes.
After the ouverture unfolds, the expérience becomes a bit lighter and slighty naughty, invigorating and phermonal... offering an hypnotic and luminous "second skin" aura.
The scentient experience is warm, soft, comforting, exciting, sensual, aphrodisiac. And excellent perfume for connecting mind and body, but also for nights out... or night ins with the beloved one.
This attar has animalic notes. Though they are light and never at the forefront, if animalics are not your thing, make sure to order sample first (potentially always a good idea).
