PURSAT GEM - remarkable wild Cambodian agarwood / oud chips, Single Tree

Coming straight from the famed land of Pursat in Cambodia, these remarkable agarwood (Aquilaria crassna) chips come form one mature single tree, ethically harvested.

The wood is dark and beautiful, resin rich.

Heated at low temperature (our recommendation of use), the profile is classic Pursate  and balanced: spicy (pepper, cinammon), sweet (vanillic) and "oudy". Some floral notes arise later.

The experience is more complex and subtle than that of many woods (also less "flashy")

Of course, the chips can be burnt too for a more intense experience / for incensing a room, or clothing.

When a wood is labelled wild, we genuinely mean wild: naturally occurring (versus planted), untreated, and responsibly harvested : no tiny or young trees, nor trees with little resin. Only mature and well-infected trees // only in regions where wild harvest is legal.
