MEDITERRANEAN PINE - An Essential Oil with rich fragrant nuances (wild / artisan)

This type of pine is iconic in the wild landscapes of Southern Mediterranean Europe. It is a very adaptative tree that can thrive in the harshest conditions, growing both on cliffs and rocks, small and robust, or throning tall and majestic in the middle of slopes and meadows.

Not surprisingly, the oil shows this combination of vigor and class. 

The oil

Artisan slow cycle low pressure low temperature distillation of sustainably harvested needles from wild Mediterranean pines Pinus nigra maritima var. calabrica. 

Raw material note : only the "heart" of needles was used, all dried or degraded needles / parts are discarded.

Terrroir:  altitude, mineral dense soil and rich sunlight.

100% pure & undiluted essential oil. 

The olfactive profile

Deliciously fragrant with an olfactive high definition landscape, made of many layers. 

While having a very rich presence out of the bottle, this oil is not a "power bomb" (overbearing pine type) but much more about harmony of subtle notes.

Floral and citurs nuances in the top register, a distinctive "southern pine" heart with red berries nuance, and a light leathery-wood "suede" base.

It adds a very interesting top note in perfume creations.
