Starting August 2026, we are sending our 0.3 ml samples in quality new total recovery sample vials*.
(*with the possible rare excpetion of extremely thick viscous aged oils - where the top opening could be too tight, but it hasn't happened so far, even with such oils, but we can not exlude the theoretical possibility)
The material of the vials is glass and there is a silicone septum on the inside part of the cap, so oils are only in contact with glass / silicone, never plastic.
Their small volume makes it ideal for samples and for optimizing their conservation : minimum headspace (space for oxygen, leading to oxidation) and a narrow shape of the inner tube that prevents the last drops from drying for as long as possible.
The bottles are transparent, allowing you to enjoy the robe of the oils (their colour and appearance). Consequently, it is imperative that you keep them in the dark, if you want your oils to last.
We send nice little (free) pouches with orders to facilitate that.
In the past we use to list samples at 0.25 ml (but always sent 0.3 ml as a little extra gesture), but they were served in bigger vials.
Now that the new vials contain maximum 0.3 ml, we will update the listings progressively to that (if you see 0,25 ml on a product entry, you will of course receive 0.3ml)
